I've been publishing nozza news to your inbox every month for 6 years and to wrap up over half a decade of community building it only felt right to publish a magazine, one that celebrates the very locals I've been shouting about for all of this time. The magazine will be published annually, with the first issue hitting shelves in December (yes, that's next month!) Showcasing people, objects and stories from our beloved Norwich.
We've been having so much fun pulling content together with our locals. The main meat of the magazine will be what we're calling The Link Up, a series of chain-reaction interviews. The concept is simple: we get to know someone, and they tell us who we should talk to next. You read that right, even we won't know the full running order until the magazine is complete. It only felt right, for a city where most of us are just one or two degrees of separation apart.
The big question, who are the locals? In Issue 01 we've chatted to - Edd Watkinson, Benjamin Street, Lydia Gluck, Ruth Baldry, Dean Khalil, Isaak Lewis Smith, Simon Nunn, Kieran Harper, Zoë Barker & tonnes more. We've snooped inside peoples homes, dived into their daily routines and learnt how best to live in this fine city of ours.
